A big part of the game’s exploration being great is the scenery. Climbing a hill and looking out over the distance to see towns, ruins, and beautiful landscapes that stretch out for quite a long distance. Dungeons and ruins that feature detailed architecture of a long-lost civilization. It’s...
*cracks knuckles* Time for some input from someone who plays it.
Pros:
Character Creation— Since the character creator has already been discussed, and I didn’t really spend that much time in it for want of playing the game, I won’t talk about it much here. It’s the most extensive character...
Yes, I like the luck factor, since it makes most games enjoyable to me. I get bored playing a game when the end result is already known and set in stone. No thank you. Give me more luck-based stuff.
Modern RPGs are all just bland and uninteresting to me. I feel like I’m old and jaded, even though I’m not really that old. I much prefer sandbox games, where I can create my own adventures rather than rely on some mediocre storytelling by someone else.
The funniest mistakes I make usually lead to me falling or jumping off a ledge to my death, but funniest among those deaths was the most recent playthrough of Dragon’s Dogma, when I tried to lure an ogre off a cliff, but ended up getting myself drop kicked off instead. The ogre still fell...
Okay, so having completed the demo for Unicorn Overlord, I can honestly say this game is a good 9/10 for me, just based on the demo. It’s a real-time w/pause strategy game where you control and manage an army of rebels who are trying to liberate their kingdom from an evil empire. Yes, the...
There’s a new tactics game coming soon called Unicorn Overlord by Vanillaware. I got the free demo on my Switch, and I am enjoying it immensely. I will likely buy the game when it comes out, and the progress I make in the demo will carry over into the full game.
Considering manufacturing is already mostly automated, with minimal human input, and therefore, minimal room for human error, the idea of it going fully automated isn’t so far fetched.
Replaying Dragon’s Dogma in preparation for DD2. Since the devs are apparently cutting mystic knight from 2, I’m going through it with MK. Perfect blocking with the magic shield’s counter spells is so satisfying! I’m going to miss it, assuming MK doesn’t come back.
Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader. It’s a blast so far. I’ve already had some severe cases of restartitis, but I think I’ve found my perfect MC: a melee warrior-assassin dodgy death dealer, going heretic for the hell of it (void of it?)
