Yes, I like the luck factor, since it makes most games enjoyable to me. I get bored playing a game when the end result is already known and set in stone. No thank you. Give me more luck-based stuff.

Modern RPGs are all just bland and uninteresting to me. I feel like I’m old and jaded, even though I’m not really that old. I much prefer sandbox games, where I can create my own adventures rather than rely on some mediocre storytelling by someone else.

There’s a new tactics game coming soon called Unicorn Overlord by Vanillaware. I got the free demo on my Switch, and I am enjoying it immensely. I will likely buy the game when it comes out, and the progress I make in the demo will carry over into the full game.
