While playing Baldur's Gate 3 for a second time (as Grimdark, the Dark Urge Paladin), I've been starting to think more and more about BG3 mods. Seeing the shortcomings of the game, mostly around UI, I started to browse Nexus Mods site in search of some potential interesting mods. It seems there are quite a lot of mods already released, some of them potentially great. I'd like to share some of my findings here. Please feel free to share mods you find interesting in this thread.

Now, I haven't played any of those mods myself, so can't say anything about their quality first-hand. I will be sharing those mods I think may be worth trying, based on their description and number of endorsements.

Today, let me share some mods that change and/or tweak UI.

UI Changes

Improved UI
- the most endorsed UI mod, that allows you to change and tweak the most annoying aspects of BG3 UI. From what I see, most other mods trying to maintain compatibility with Improved UI, so it may serve as a base for more UI tweaks.
Aether's Immersive UI - very cool looking mod, that allows you to hide all (or some) UI elements when you don't use them, increasing the immersion during world exploration. It seems a perfect mod for those who wants to enjoy surroundings and/or looking for beautiful screenshots. It can be installed as one package, or as individual mods, if you want to auto-hide only some specific bars. Compatible with Improved UI, except some optional files (see Compatibility section in mod descriptio)

Better Containers - have you ever been disappointed with the small container size? This mod increases the container grid size, and you can pick from a couple of sizes.
Better Hotbar 2 - this mod allows you to tweak your hotbar, increasing the number of grids, and adding one shutter for passive abilities.
Better Maps All-in-One - this mod allows you to tweak minimap to your liking. It provides more options than Improved UI, and both mods are compatible (see Compatibility section in mod description).
Better Combat Log 2 - this mod makes the combat log tighter and draggable. I know I'll love it, cause using combat in vanilla game log is a pain.
Slightly Better Trade Menu - this mod increases trade/barter grids and adds ability to choose and drag multiple items/stacks in Barter Mode.
Overexplained Interaction Options - this mod is for those who are constantly annoyed of not knowing companion reactions on each dialogue options.
Damage Preview - a small mod that shows expected damage/heal number previews alongside the hit %, when targeting enemy or friendly creature.

Great mod suggestions. What I'm personally looking at for a potential future playthrough is improving the variety of clothing and dyes. I felt these parts were really lacking in the base game, along with limited choices in character creation.

Basket Equipment to Camp Clothing - allows you to use additional clothing from the Basket Full of Equipment mod as camp clothing.

Transmog Enhanced - makes the transmog system more like a usual transmog system, not a restricted version we have. Works great with the Basket Full of Equipment.

Boring dyes - this is a solid addition to original choices of dyes (which I find questionable more often than not).

There are a couple more dye mods worth noting:

Aether's Black Dye - finally a proper black dye
Everybody Dyes Unlimited Dyeing - your dyes are no longer consumed on use, so you don't need to hunt for the same dye anymore if you want your party to have consistent outfit colours.
Dye Dye Dye - gives all types of dye to a merchant in Emerald Grove (Arron) and Danthelon in act 3. Optionally, adds these dyes to the Nautiloid tutorial chest so you can dye your gear right from the start.
Extra Dyes for the Fashionable Folks of Faerun - adds 33 new dye variants to the game.

Gameplay mods

Party Limit Begone - have you ever been unhappy with 4-character party limit? Now you can finally play with 6-charater party, as in old BG games, or... extend the limit to 16 characters.
Native Camera Tweaks - a true blessing for all those who, like me, find the default camera lacking.
WASD Character Movement - allows switching movement to WASD keys. You can fully immerse into the beautiful world, without wasting time for clicking LMB to move your party around.
Camp Event Notifications - adds visual notifications to tell the player when they should long rest due to camp night events and dialogues waiting to play out.
Immersive AI - Immersive AI is a complete rewrite of BG3’s combat AI to make it more varied, immersive and fun to play.

Continuing to share interestingly looking mods, this time it's time for:

Visual mods

No More Dirt and Blood - Slower and Faster Options
- ever find yourself in a cutscene ruined because all your companions were covered in blood after a recent battle? Have no fear, this mod got you covered.
Tav's Hair Salon - this mod contains a collection of new hairstyles for your Tav. It's worth installing together with Icon Patches for Tav's Hair Salon.
New Character Creation Presets - a perfect mod for anyone who miss the more variety of face presets in vanilla game.
Horns of Faerun - do you love to play tieflings, but find the number of horn types lacking? Fear no more, this mod comes with a bunch of new horn types for your tiefling.
Unvisual Volo's Eye - a small mod that allows you to undo the visual part of Volo's gift, leaving you with just a nifty bonus.
Astral Sea Dice Set and Galaxy Dice Set - cool looking dice models.

And this time, let me share some Weapon and Armour mods that haven't been mentioned yet.

Weapon and Armour mods

Purchasable Camp Clothes and Underwear - this mod makes camp clothes outfits (and optionally underwear) available for purchase from a few merchants in Acts 1 and 2.
Modular Equipment - A set of clothing and armour pieces made for mixing and matching with each other or with other armour mods. Only supports tall slim female characters.
Ring of Minor Rituals - this is a quality of life mod that adds a ring called the Ring Of Minor Rituals. This ring grants a player access to the Speak With Animals, Speak with Dead, Disguise Self, and Detect Thoughts spells for free. I wouldn't perhaps recommend it on first run, to not spoil yourself the fun of using these mechanics in a restricted way (you have to learn or acquire the spell to be able to use it), but it may be a blessing for consecutive playthroughs.
Sharess's Embrace - this looks like a cool item. And good-looking, too :)
Loviatar's Claws - another interesting, thematic item.
Cloaks of Faerun - I'm not a big fan of mods that adds a large collection of items to the game, because BG3 is already abundant with items, but this one is an exception, because there are surprisingly few cloaks available. This mod should remedy that, and at the first glance, those cloaks don't look OP.
