Noticed this today while browsing the game's Steam reviews (45% from only 73 reviews, yeeesh). The game got into Early Access yesterday.
So it seems for today's RPG market, you either go action combat like Veilguard (can be a good or a bad thing depending on the execution, e.g. I absolutely love action combat in The Witcher 3) or go full turn-based like Rogue Trader and Baldur's Gate 3. From a purely financial standpoint, it doesn't make sense to go RTWP.
