Excellent choice. If more people join in maybe we can make this a thing, lol.

Btw, did you ever see the finale, Requiem? A fan made a cartoon of it in 2020, based on the original 1985 script that was never produced and the 2006 audio drama of that script. It looks great, almost like a real episode.

Here it is, in case you haven't seen it.

A reasonable concern, but I think we'll be ok.

We've added five so far since the API protest arose, one since the actual closure. Guest numbers have remained modest.

Redditors are more likely to be drawn to Discord or a replacement subreddit. It is, after all, a self-selecting set of people who chose a new school format over an old school one.

Hopefully we'll end up with a healthy yet manageable increase.

I'm not terribly concerned about new users. They were a pretty cool crowd over there in my experience. Though maybe if I was in charge of moderating this place I'd feel differently.

I more just meant the integrity of the server if a bunch of people visited the site at the same time. I don't know what kind of set-up is running behind the scenes but sometimes when somebody links a smaller site in an especially visible part of Reddit with a lot of traffic that site goes down for a while. But given those guest numbers it sounds like we're in the clear.

This forum uses XenForo, a very powerful forum software, and is hosted by KnownHost, one of the leading hosting providers. So it should be able to handle thousands of users. The question is, when do they arrive. :p
