Tieflings in BG1 and BG2

The Sirene mod introduces a Tiefling Paladin.
I love the mod by the way.
However it raised questions as I thought that I would like to do a run as a Tiefling.
BG3 is a completely different game engine and so is not relevant to this discussion.

What modification should I make to a roll? The Sirene mod uses the elf as a starting point which actually enables Sirene to use a Moonblade!

EDIT The elf was probably used as a starting point due to their night vision.

Any bonuses or penalties to attributes?
Changes to fire resistance? magic fire resistance?
How to alter see in the dark?

Anything else?

Because I am familiar with EE Keeper I would prefer to make any alterations in EE Keeper rather than Near Infinity

One of the weird things about Sirene is that there is no strength bonus for a paladin!!

Sirene has 50% Fire, 50% Cold 50% Elecricity, 50% Acid, 50% Magic Fire Resistance. She also has a +1 two-handed sword with additional fire resistance.

Quite a lot of difference between the two characters !!!

If I remember correctly, the sub-race mod gave +1 to dexterity and reduced experience by a certain percentage. I can't remember what the percentage was. I think there was a resistance to fire too but can't remember the details.

It appears that there is no standard format for tiefling in BG1 and BG2. :(

If I use the Sirene resistances, I'm thinking that there should be a penalty in at least one attribute to balance things.

Perhaps a penalty of 1 for charisma. That would still allow the character to be a paladin.

Perhaps a 1 penalty for wisdom and a 1 penalty for Intelligence.

Does that sound balanced?

I have just looked up the sub-race mod and here are the details.

Advantages: +1 Intelligence +1 Dexterity Fire, cold, and electrical resistance: +20 +10 Hide in shadows and Move silently Blindness 1/Day Darkvision

Disadvantages: -1 Charisma Gets only 95% of experience

Since this mod was updated 2 years ago I assume that the bugs that were in the Tutu version have been ironed out.

Does anyone know for sure?

IMHO, that's pretty hefty bonuses with relatively small cons (at least for BG1 where there's plenty of EXP to max your level. Perhaps those 5% will be more noticeable in BG2 but only if running a full part I guess).

For some roflstompin' fun, go for it. but I agree with Chronicler that Haer'dalis' stats may be more leveled. At the end of the day it's about what you find fun though.
