Any Way to Play Classic BG Games without Troubleshooting?

Before SOD came out and I switched to the EE's I probably could have given you a comprehensive breakdown of how to get it up and running, any issues with BGTutu, etc.

Now, I can't remember a single thing. I know that doesn't help.
