Yep, 'biggest damage numbers' in particular and overall focus on all those 'bloated numbers' everywhere is what brings me some discomfort with Pathfinder system.
Personally I haven't any problems with 10 Con for my Sylvan Sorcerer. And not being a fan of extream min/maxing and 'damp' stats I'm running him as 10/14/10/12/12/20 on Challenging/Last Azlanti difficulty just fine (finished Chapter 2 main quest with no death whatsoever for any party member so...
I believe, it will be impossible to go back to Gray Garrison. I'm currently in Chapter 2 on my way to Drezen and Kenabres (where Gray Garrison is) is already unavailable. Not sure if it will be opened later.
Thanks for your answer! Yes, I know you give the amulet to Valerie, but in my case she has 3 levels of Rogue (aim for 4 levels for Debilitating Injury) and thus 2 dice of SA already, while Linzi is pure Bard and those 'free' ranged 2D6 SA in addition to +4 Mobility/Trickery/Stealth are more...
I've just accidentally noticed a strange thing - Linzi, while not having any sources of Sneak Attacks short of wearing the Necklace of Double Crosses (which, according to description, should only provide a melee sneak attack vs flat-footed opponents) made a ranged sneak attack with her light...
In my current Last Azlanti/Hard run I've managed to kill it buffing Kitty with Mage Armor+Resist Cold & Blur potions, Enlarge Person+Bull's Strength+Heroism Potion on Seelah with Marching Terror Glaive and Lann shooting from afar. Seelah also could step back after each attack and then use Charge...
I'm currently (at the same time with P:K) running through WoTR with Sylvan Sorcerer (naturally I'm a spellcaster guy and Sylvan Sorcerer, somewhat mix of a Sorcerer and a Druid, is my most favorite class). There is a Witch NPC in WoTR (and quite a lovely one) but not a Druid (though you could...
I see your reason and it makes a lot of sense =) I also prefer when DLC are merged with main campain. At least it seems that Owlcats are moving in right direction with implementing their DLCs in Wraith of the Righteous.
Even though Varnhold's Lot is a separate adventure it worth it to play it during main campain after finishing 'The Season of Bloom' for some plot and unique items you could import from it into the main campain.
Quote from kimagure's guide:
Respec is available in Kingmaker, it's just not free like in D:OS. First three times it's free and after that you'll need to pay for it. And enabling it also changes any pre-set difficulty levels to 'Custom'.
Well, since you've reached level 5 with your Thundercaller even before Stag Lord and Wererats with exp sharing, I think, it's also possible to complete all stuff in 30 days time limit with proper (and careful) planning when and where to go. I'll try that someday, but now I'm eager to move...
With experience sharing - 'off' only active party members got the experience for quests/kills and if you have reduced party you'll get more exp for quests/defeated enemies. I believe, in Prologue 9exp enemy provide 56exp instead. And with a party of four, telling the truth to Warrior Queen Bdaah...
The Tales of Grim Face & Co #8 (Challenging). Chapter 1:
Grim Face - Neutral Good Halfling Sylvan Sorcerer (10/14/10/12/12/20) with Leopard pet on Challenging/Last Azlanti Mode/Completionist.
(Experience sharing on/off early on)
- Oleg's Trading Post > Nettle's Crossing > Thorn Ford (killed...
Yes, I have a bunch of Vanish potions (and usually not shy of using them) while Dimension Door is #1 spell I pick when I'm able to do so (not at level 5 though). The thing with that particular encounter is that I have three characters *dead* (Valerie, Amiri, Harrim) and nearly zero cash in the...
Well, there isn't a Death Door state in Baldur's Gate games and I'm fine/accustomed with that. It's just a bit too costly in PF:K to rise your dead companions early on. But if you have money you can always rise them back while chunked BG characters are gone forever. But I definitely always...
(Sigh...) I gave up on hard difficulty... This is not fun at all... A single Branded Troll in Ruined Watchtower just obliterated our whole crew while saving against all our multiple control spells... After applying all the buffs we had at the moment Kitty has 36 AC and ended up with -46HP in...
Yay! Kaessi is there!!!
Right after claiming Outskirts three Throne Room events pops up - 'Harrim Has a Request', 'Councilor Awaits in the Throne Room' and there you are - 'A Traveler Waits at the Castle' where Kaessi introduce herself!
I'm so relieved =) Onward!
So here is our progress at the moment:
Grim Face's first expedition after claiming the barony was (like in my *challenging* run) through the Ratnook Hills and there a disaster striked - one Wererat made crit-crit-crit and Kitty died in the first round, we've managed to kill one Wererat but then...
Thanks, Antimatter! I've tried that save on my another (home) PC and Kaessi also doesn't spawn on banquet, so apparently the *bug* is already in save file and reinstalling the DLC will change nothing. Lets hope she'll show up later to introduce herself as a kingdom event since starting anew is...
