Some of you may know this, some of you may not: Vin Diesel has been playing tabletop D&D for decades, he's a huge fan of the game. Here's a clip that's absolutely priceless.

Henry Cavill. He is a hardcore Witcher 3 fan. Recently he finished it second time on the highest difficulty (again). Also Felicia Day (I know her from "Supernatural" TV series) is streaming the games while playing.

TV characters played by celebrities, rather than celebrities, so a bit askew of the topic, BUT:

Speaking of Dan Harmon...there are actually two whole episodes of Community where the characters play D&D for the entire episode. Season 2 Episode 14 "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons" (not on streaming anymore--due to a character cosplaying a Drow, lol--but can be viewed through Amazon...) and Season 5 Episode 10 "Advanced Advanced Dungeons & Dragons"

Terry Crews was in one of those CelebriDnD episodes (with Matt Mercer as the DM), along with Troy Baker. Both of them were new to the game, I believe, though only one emerged victorious.
