I gotta check my hard drive to see if I still have this game. I can't remember finishing it and barely remember anything about it. Even thought I can't stand Hasbro D&D, ToEE is pretty legendary in PnP and worth a solid bash, despite the system change.
OH! This gives me a great idea. Exporting all the AV from ToEE and then rebuilding it in the engine for IWD. I wish I knew how to do all of those things. What about a Tavern RPG community project? Are any modders on here?

It's a good amount of fun, but is a bit of a broken/buggy mess. There are some mods and whatnot that fix a lot of the issues, however.I gotta check my hard drive to see if I still have this game. That's what I remember about it, but it was serviceable with the CO8 patch.
In PnP, though, ToEE was legend amongst all modules. I would love to see it get a proper treatment using AD&D. Ah well, so it goes.

A couple months ago I beat ToEE for the first time, and *then* I heard about the mod that fixes bugs and adds a functional postgame with a brand new city. Kicking myself, I need to start over.
I need to also bake these Cookies of Elemental Evil and make a review of them

I've only ever played ToEE once, many years ago. I even found a bug/glitch myself where you could get infinite points at character creation and created some absurd party members with like 99 STR etc. But played one proper run not really knowing anything about that version of the rules. I have a memory still to this day that I was so disappointed that in one town you can send in one character in a fist fight in a tavern, if memory serves, and despite having a monk he kept losing and I had to reload and send in my plain fighter to win the fight. But I assume I had messed up the char creation somehow, though I think maybe I played it after NVN so I wasn't a complete noob? It's all so long ago and I ever did finish it. I think I was in the actual temple when I stopped and then just never continued for reasons I can't remember.
