So, the main issue I'm having with my gaming laptop is that the keyboard is falling apart on me. In its defense, the thing is 6 years old and has been a solid performer otherwise. Especially with the cost of RAM and the great shape it still is in, repair is the obvious answer. I've been researching how to do the repair and looking up parts when I saw this on the Lenovo website:
I get that the Candian-French keyboard set is not a hot ticket item, but we're talking about a 1200% price difference. And these are manufacturer parts, not after-market swill from cheap third parties.
Why do you think there's such a price difference?
But, at barely more than $15, I'm going to give it a shot (and then change my keyboard config, if possible). At that price, if it works, that's a total win.
