Yeah, first person. I actually think it fits CP2077 perfectly due to how CDPR implemented everything that is going on in game engine, without relying on cutscenes. It's a truly immersive experience that would be difficult to express in third person.
I'd be right there with you on this if FP perspective didn't give me severe motion sickness. Two minutes into a FP game and I'm already queasy. By five minutes I'm ready to barf on my shoes.

Yeah, I feel you. There are games that give me this motion sickness too. Often turning off some options (like Blur and Depth of Field) helps, like in Skyrim, other time I had to refer to mods (like bobblehead effect in KCD series). Fortunately I had no such issues on CP2077, although I may have proactively turn off such effects before playing, can't recall now.

Have you played CP2077? I've always wondered about that one. I heard it was controversial in quality out of the gates, but that (possibly) they got it together.

Yes, I played it during COVID times IIRC. It's quite rare I play an entire game without fizzling out but I cleared every single dot on the map, plus many unmarked ones, in that game. Except one quest that bugged out for me. I loved it, but more so for the world and game play than for the main quest. I'm not into anarchy so the whole spin on that hit me the same way as for example the pirates in PoE2, I just can't connect with it. Apparently I chose one of the least common endings as well. I had planned to reload and retry all the endings, but never did. I have planned to play the DLC some day but still haven't bought it.

Sector unknown is released now, a game in a underdeveloped genre IMHO; RPG in a sci-fi setting. Quite good reviews for a solo dev'd game. I will for sure pick it up sooner or later having played the ones I've found so far (Encased, Colony Ship). You travel around different planets, solve crises and unite them against one, giant common threat. From what I've seen, it seems mostly like Encased but I guess I'm one of the few in here that played that.
