I get a feeling this thread might become popular again in the next little while.

GOG opened up its Winter Sale with a giveaway of Ghost of a Tale (during the next 72 hours).

Ghost of a Tale is an action-RPG game in which you play as Tilo, a mouse and minstrel thrown into a perilous adventure. Through stealth and cunning you’ll be able to explore the secrets of Dwindling Heights Keep and navigate its dangers.

For anyone who hasn't played them (or just wants extra redundant copies on another launcher), the classic Fallout games are EOS's free games of the day. Highly recommended for RPG enthusiasts.

I saw yesterday that ESO Plus membership is on free trial until Aug 3.
So if anyone got the free base game or even the full non-subscription access, if you go into the Crown Store in the UI, you can pick up ESO Plus as free trial and benefit from all DLC content like otherwise restricted dungeons and regions, Thieves' Guild, Dark Brotherhood, unlimited storage space for crafting materials... and it ends automatically when it's over, so there's no strings attached like turning into paid subscription.

The Evil Within games are going free on the EGS.

The Evil Within 1 is free this week. It's a hit survival horror game headed up by original Resident Evil director Shinji Mikami.

Its sequel, The Evil Within 2, will be free next week.

For the first time ever, The Evil Within games are going free on The Epic Games Store

The very good first-person puzzler Eternal Threads is also free for the taking this week.

We had some discussion about the game here, especially about its controls. @Cahir completed the game not long ago, picking the easiest setting (IIRC) just to experience the story. The story and characters are good enough to give the game a chance, especially for free.
