This is from my enchantment spreadsheet, showing level 4 spells only:
I like all 3 of them but the cones can be hard to aim while AoE is easier so I went Confusion first and then Overwhelming Grief and skipped Crushing Despair though I suspect it is an under-valued spell - huge duration and -2 debuff on saves, damage and attack rolls. Overwhelming Grief, because it neither Prones nor paralyses is very powerful for disabling enemies which have Freedom of Movement and Prone immunity. Plus it can effect animals: Owlbears can be sad. Of course anything with Mind Affecting immunity is immune but thats part of the fun.
| Lvl | Spell | School | Type | Affects | HD Restrictions | Target | Range | Party Friendly? | Duration | Casting Time | Save | Spell Resistance | Debuff | Buff Type | Notes |
