At later chapters in my first run Nenio was basically crowd control and Ember was my magical damage dealer.

Yeap... i had him as a distance healer mounted in an animal companion and firing his crossbow and summoning undead armies in my last game :)

Daeran is interesting and has an interesting back story. He won't be very useful until he can cast summoning spells and later on he may be your mobile party healer and even a damage dealer depending how you level/equip him.

The great problem of the original endings is that all your choices do not matter. You saved the AI and they became your friends? "Good" ending will destroy them and all AI in the Galaxy, including your crew AI...

The more I see, the more I'm convinced I want to watch this :)

It's been years since I last played Magic. I still have my cards including my Black Lotus :) And anything can be used for computing. I once saw how to make a computer using a few million crabs.
