Greater Owlbear-like Treant? What's that? Some sort of hybrid creature?
Looks like I've found its sister, a Poisonous Manticore-like Treant.

@m7600 Great to hear you're enjoying a Duelist prestige class. The main asset of this game is the vast variety of classes and their combinations to try. For example, when I first played, I focused Jaethal more on support (leaving her as a clear Inquisitor), and now with a few Thug levels, she's a heavy damage dealer (100 damage in one hit).

The art by Larry Elmore is so nostalgic. Not sure P:K's style captures it (different times, different countries, different cultures), but sure, Pathfinder games have their own flair separate from other similar games like Pillars of Eternity.

Man, am I glad that we made peace with the Treants in the neighbourhood of our tavern... I highly doubt @Nimran would dare to steal shrubbery from that one!
Although, on second thought, he probably would... let's not give him ideas.

Also, what next? Haughty Griffin-like Treant? Stony Basilisk-like Treant?

The current build of WoTR (1.2aaf) has a bug with spell progression on the mythic paths that have merged spell books (angel and lich). The game is not considering mythic level.

Just an update. The bug seems to affect only spontaneous casters such as Oracles and Sorcerers. Classes that memorize their spells seem to be working with no problem

I often wonder why build guides for beginners, both for Kingmaker and Wrath, never explain anything... They just list a set of attributes and feats. How can a new player learn the mechanical reasons of those choices if nobody cares to explain?

For instance...nobody explains why you shouldn't get Abundant casting and its follow-up powers all at once, basically because the other ones apply to spell levels you can't even cast yet. Although that's obvious for an experienced player, a new player that has no idea when he will start casting level 6 spells, for instance, may not notice that.

Of course, difficulties bellow unfair have no need for absolutely optimized characters. Normal and bellow can be beaten even with the automatic level ups. But i think many players would like to use pre-made builds to learn the mechanics.

Update on my second run:

Zaphira's moral choices make no sense, lol. Her last three choices were: True Neutral, Lawful Good, Chaotic Evil.

Specifically:
1) True Netural: "Refused to decide whose lives were more important, Kanerah's or the Sweet Teeth's."
2) Lawful Good: "Told the Forefather that you will protect Kanerah and Kalikke no matter what."
3) Chaotic Evil: "Allowed goblins to worship Lamashtu."

She's usually like this. But, overall, at the end of the day it seems that she's True Neutral, leaning towards Neutral Good. (Fun fact, in Pathfinder: Kingmaker there's no "True Neutral", it's just called "Neutral").

The one about letting the goblins worship Lamasthu was really weird, mostly because of how it was phrased. The choice said something like "I respect your beliefs, Nok-Nok, you may worship Lamasthu.
That doesn't sound evil to me. Or chaotic. It sounds like something that a True Neutral would say. I guess it's considered Chaotic Evil not because of the words, but because of the actions.

A chaotic neutral character could say something like this too... It would be something like "do whatever you want to, I don't care"

I'm currently trying to kill the Spawn of Rovagug, from the DLC "Beneath the Stolen Lands".

I have no idea how to kill it. It fights in a very unconventional way.

EDIT: Ok, I managed to kill it. I didn't use any special strategy. I just used every potion and spell that I had, so that the party was buffed up like crazy before the fight. Then I just kept attacking the Spawn, using Heal or Mass Heal every now and then, just to keep everyone alive. Nok-Nok landed the killing strike. The fight was in turn-based mode, took me about 10-11 turns.

Well, IIRC, the only thing I did that really worked was to have my cleric memorize a lot of Mass Heal spells. I also made sure said cleric stayed back from the fighting so they (hopefully) would not get disabled at the wrong time. I noticed that this fight seems to "cheat" in that protection spells which normally block certain statuses do not function. Not sure how best to deal with that really...

I think it's the toughest fight in the game, mostly because of the weird mechanics that @Xzarloxara mentioned.

I liked that fight, though. It was a real head-scratcher for me. I had no idea what to do at first, and I still don't, lol, other than buffing up, trying to stay alive (Mass Heal), and attacking the damn Spawn with everything I have. If there's a more specialized strategy for this fight, I don't know it.
