We joined up with Drizzt and Wulfgar and went o the nine hells where our first opponents were demonic guardians, tough, but beatable.

Next, we killed a demonknight and then a greater tanari

Then took on Belhifet which was a tough battle which needed two strength potions, three slow poison and two of extra healing.

Here's the reason why it was so tough!

Just as well that it was slow. Drizzt was able to hit, run, and hide repeatedly. Even so, Belhifet did manage to hit Drizzt from time to time.

Another Demonknight was the next to fall.

2 Slayer Shadows didn't yield much experience considering how tough they were.

The last foe in the nine hells was Marilith.

Another difficult battle.

Now picked up Bruenor.

We joined up with Cattie Brie whereupon we were attacked by Errtu and others. We fled followed by Errtu whom we killed, Cattie Brie being killed in the battle.

We raised her with a scroll. The big question is what to do next. We have succeeded in rescuing her, so do we just continue on our way, or return to kill Jarlaxle et al?

We have been transported to an area where vampires are commonplace together with wailing death and mummies. Talk about being difficult! I have had greatewr malaison, and charm cast om my mage. I am just going to have to wait for the spells to wear out. Annoying!

I have found a tanari summoning idol. :)
I have now returned to Bruenor's Cabin.
From there I went to Kangaxx. I found that with my current equipment, I can't defeat him. I was lucky to escape!
Potions to protect from lightning are vital. I'll remember that for another playthrough.
Next time an Undead Hunter could be useful against the vampires.
Now with the Bear Clan. The Frost Giants are tough as well. A lot of resting required.

Now reached the harpies. Can't cast silence since no cleric.
The Drizzt Saga would have been much easier with a cleric in the party. I should have just let Cattie-Brie stay dead in order to keep Jet' Laya.
I'll remember that for future runs.
One of the problems with this installation is that if you get one NPC to leave, they ALL leave and it is impossdible to leave the region and go home.
With previous installations you could leave without finishing the saga.

I bade farewell to Drizzt and his friends, and used Movedto... to get back to Baldur's Gate as there is a bug that stopped us geting back there.
I sold a lot of surplus equipment and bought some wands with many charges.
The only problem now is that my character won't go where I tell him to go. He starts moving and then stops.
I'm thinking that there is a memory problem.

I tried exporting my dragon's disciple into the beginning of BG1. He was still buggy so there must have been something that went wrong in Icewind dale. When he was level drained, or the like.
I'll try with another character and avoid too many side quests.
